 Here we are, Georgie's portrait is completed. The varnish makes the colours more vibrant.

I also like it when other areas of the painting could be a mini paintings in themselves...

 without detracting from the main subject, Margaret's beautiful Georgie Girl.

The back is dated and signed.

Now, I just need Margaret's sweet words about Georgie to be printed on the paper backing before I can finish off the edges with ribbon and nails.
