Fleury Yorkshire Terrier - Part VI
People often presume that little dogs are spoiled rotten. It was not the case for Fleury. Yet, despite what he had endured in his past, he had the sweetest, gentlest disposition. He loved everyone he met, human or canine. Even in his last hours of life, while waiting in the emergency vet hospital, Fleury wanted to comfort and lick a nearby poodle waiting for stitches. Hundreds of dogs go through Happy Tails Rescue every year, but Carol saw in this tiny dog a spirit that was as huge as a whale. He was exceptional.
Now that there's enough inner pattern on Fleury's rug I can start on my favourite part.
Note that in his bed one hedgehog is done and part of his zebra plushy. The zebra pattern gives a spot of brightness in the upper corner. I was thinking of placing the second hedgehog between his front paws...
... but I changed my mind because it would distract from our subject. Fleury should be the main focus of the forefront.
So, into the bed the second hedgehog went. Many more layers are to be applied on Carol's little boy, but it's going very well.
