Diva Divine Fuzzi - Part II
Fuzzi was by all accounts the platinum blonde bombshell of the canine world. Carol writes that if Fuzzi could have talked, she would have entered a room saying, "Fuzzi’s here, adore me!”. When seeing an outfit for her to wear, she would get all excited and prepare herself for the spotlight. Like a professional model, she would pose appropriately for the camera, and give her best shot.
An extravert without a doubt, Fuzzi was also an exhibitionist, very proud of her curvaceous little body.
Here she is with her diamonds and silk gown.
Fuzzi's profile conjured up glitz and glamour - this was my starting point to come up with elements that would represent her in the painting, making sure that she would be the main feature in the composition, front and centre. All these wonderful photographs of Fuzzi will serve as inspiration for her portrait along with a few more elements I gathered to start on the sketching phase. Needless to say, pink will be a very important colour once I start painting.
These two very feminine chaises are also very good contenders. Wether I decide to use the settee or one of the chaises, only a small portion of the furniture will be visible, keeping Fuzzi the main feature.
I included this image for fun. They're not real little booties for dogs, but I would bet that if Fuzzi had seen them, she would have gladly hoped into them and strutted her stuff.
DEFINITELY Mae West .... or Dolly Parton too in her chunky days with the way over the top personality and the big hair.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful write up on her Anyes. I didn't realize you had met Fuzzi in all her Fuzziness. I miss her more everyday.
Judianne - Fuzzi's other mom
Thank you Judianne. Those little boots are very 'Dolly Parton'.
ReplyDeleteFuzzi's positive energy was remarkable regardless of her sickness. Another example that dogs are simply amazing.
Thank you for dropping in,
Anyès
