
Creating the template:
Using my computer, the Kismutt sign has been converted into a line drawing and has been enlarged to the actual sign size of 4' x 4'.

I set up the image to be printed on letter-size sheets in a tile layout so they can be reassembled to create the complete image. Each blue-lined box you see below is 8 1/2" x 11 ", therefore 30 sheets will be needed to create the template. A bit of a lengthy process, it guarantees that the image will be reproduced in proportion with precision on to the wood panels.

Here are the sheets printed out and re-assembled.
