When the weekend comes around, I avoid working on my paintings, I try not to even look at them. Coming back on Monday, I see everything with fresh eyes. Today, I did the base coat of Puck, just to determine his position. Now that I look at it on the screen, I may lower his tail so it's more at an angle. He has a ghostly appearance at this point, but numerous layers are to come. He's awake at this point, but he will be dozing off in the final rendition.
