Pepe - Shih Tzu - Portrait Commission IV

Here we are - almost done. I now need some feedback from Ray to make sure all is as it should be before I apply the varnish.

I wasn't very familiar with the Shih Tzu breed until I started fostering for Kismutt Rescue. Amazingly popular - understandably so - they're sweet, loyal, smart, and unbelievably cute, I mean puppy cute. Even as adult dogs, they retain that sweet puppy appearance, especially if they sport the shorter clip, like Pepe in his portrait.

But this is not advertisement for dog breeds.

Unfortunately, Shih Tzus are very common in puppy mills. If Pepe's portrait makes you want to get a Shih Tzu, please go to a reputable dog breeder - better yet, adopt from a dog rescue organization.
