Commission Bugs & Blooms Collection - 15 / Cicada & Kachnar Orchid
A pearl offering from the cicada to the orchid.
The last of the twelve piece collection is done. Before I apply the varnish, I like to leave the artworks alone for a few days and return to them with fresh eyes. I often make touch ups and little corrections.
Below are progress shots.
Although these paintings are little in size, a lot of care, thought and labour go into each one.
