Commissioned Portrait of a Lady - Part VI
Framed art on the wall and stripes on the sofa requires a steady hand.
Many more hours is needed to finish the satin striped jacquard, it's very rough at this point, but the left side is starting to take shape with the light and shade. Initially, I wanted my subject standing in the centre, but as I was working, I felt that the sofa was too inviting to leave it unused. I'm now thinking of having her sitting on it.
Here's a glimpse at the living room featured.
Warm and elegant, just like my subject.
