Tonik - Part II
I felt like painting Tonik on a rich blue indigo bed cover. His fur and whiskers would stand out in contrast and his crystal blue eyes would coordinate nicely. It was a short work day - too cloudy and foggy outside make for bad natural light inside. But I managed to do a good foundation for Tonik's portrait. Many more layers to come.
Tonik had a strong presence in his household and made sure everyone knew he was the king of his castle. Talkative, headstrong and very interactive with his family, Tonik thought he was human and wanted to be involved with everything. One of his favourite things was to watch his big sister do her homework. He would lie down on her books and watch her pen move around on the page. He also liked watching her work on the computer and cuddling up to watch TV.
Notice his adorable polka-dot nose.
