Purdie, Rio and Chewy - Part IV

Coming back to the painting with a fresh, well rested pair of eyes does wonders. I see things I hadn't earlier and it's a good time to revise, correct and refine what was done, before proceeding with the rest.

I then worked on the foundation colours of the sofa, quilt and cushions, and refined the area rug a little more. There is still more work to be done on the area rug, but it's getting there. Anything with a pattern and texture requires more work, but makes a composition so much more rich and lively.
