Lindsey's Pack Completed - Commission for Five Pet Portraits

Here we are, all of Lindsey's beloved pets immortalized on canvas. Before I apply the paper backing, I identify, sign and date the back of each.

Lindsey's words regarding the significance of each of her pets' names have been printed on the paper backings, along with my signature and the provenance of each painting. Hanging hardware has also been affixed to the backs so the pieces can hang on the wall - the safest place to be.

Lindsey chose a creamy flesh tone ribbon to surround the edges, a colour found, more or less in each of the paintings. A coppery tone decorative nail was chosen to coordinate with the wood accent in her home.

It was a real delight to collaborate with Lindsey on this project and to get to know her beautiful creatures. Her home is a wonderful sanctuary where animals are an integral part of her family. They are treated with kindness and patience, all their physical needs are met and they are showered with loads of love and affection. That is exactly what I wish for all pets in this world.
