Morley the Cat

I inherited from my mother a love for animals. Saying that she's a cat lover is an understatement. The first cat we owned was a stray taby that showed up in the middle of winter. We named him Minet. He opened the floodgates. We must have been called the crazy cat family in our neighborhood. My friends used to call me Miss Mew. Needless to say, I still love cats, but the overexposure to all these cuddly felines made me very sensitive to allergens. I now have to limit myself to non-shedding dogs otherwise I would have a ménagerie.

Here is the gorgeous, self-confident Morley. He looks a little intense here, but I will give him a more relaxed look, like the one he has in the smaller picture.

I've done cat portraits before, but Morley will be my first one online.
