The final detail on the spine is Emily’s signature, complete with middle name Jane.

A simple, elegant cursive signature.

I practiced on a piece of paper the length of the book.

Silver highlights to make the signature stand out from the dark background.

Now for painting over the deckle edges to make it look like its original antique self.

Almost finished.
