Gryphon - Yorkshire Terrier, Commissioned Portrait

My dear client Carol of Happy Tails Rescue has been stricken with yet another tragedy. Soon after losing her Fleury, Gryphon, the youngest member of her family died suddenly of a digestive related illness. Some of Carol's dogs lived 18 and 19 years in her care, so imagine how shocked and bewildered she was when Gryphon passed away after only five years. A rare form of cancer is suspected.

Carol described Gryphon as an unusual little dog with a flair for drama. He used his paws for hands and gesticulated like a spider monkey, unknowingly entertaining everyone around. In Carol's words, "I miss the drama and the love."
