Stormy & Shanon - Part III

This is the paint-by-number stage. This stage is pretty flat and the contours are quite rough, but everything will softly come together. Usually, my background is completed before I paint the dog. Because it's a garden setting, I want blades of grass and leaves to overlap Stormy's body. Therefore, I will go back to my background once I finish Stormy.

Pictures from my garden and my client's garden have been a source of inspiration for the background.
