Japanese Plate and Everlasting Edible Flowers - Completed
Flowers Alfresco 16” x 16” x 1” Acrylic on wood |
A sampling of edible flowers found in my garden.
Freshly cut with garden snippers and displayed on my Japanese plate are a day lily, yellow and orange honeysuckles, peony, wild rose, nasturtium and scented geraniums. Also edible in the grass surrounding the plate are wild violets, clovers and dandelions.
If you look closely in the grass, you will also see little bugs.
My reality and my interpretation of spring and summertime in my little part of the world.
Have a great summer!
