Sparkly Creatures - Commission of 7 Mini Paintings, Part IV - The Snail

This commission had been interrupted by the selling of our house in St. Marys and a move to Merrickville, Ontario. Eight months later, it feels great to be back painting sparkly creatures and colourful blooms. I decided to replace the grasshopper (previous post) by this jewelled incrusted snail. The reason had to do with seeing the grasshopper from its side as opposed to the top. It didn't fit in with the other pieces which are viewed from the top.
