My first painting of 2024, inspired by the year of the dragon. In Chinese culture, the dragon is an auspicious symbol of power, nobility, honor, luck, and success. 

I love dragons because they simply look awesome and spark the imagination.

I was a huge Game of Thrones fan (despite its awful ending), but the real stars were the dragons.

As usual, there’s a little creature in my painting - a blue tail skink, seeking refuge under the jardinière.
