Work in Progress - Orchid & Books

A new painting is in the works, another large size - 24”x24” acrylic on stretched canvas.

I actually started this on way before the Medinilla Magnifica, but couldn’t decide on which flowering plant to paint in the pot, so I set it aside until it came to me - Orchid of course!

Hubby is a book collector. Many are ancient with beautifully designed covers and spines. Here are just a few of his books depicting stylized flowers. The book on tulips is a more recent one and is mine - a gift from hubby.
