Painting of tadpoles in a vintage glass jar, filled with summer blooms from my garden and flanked by two northern leopard frogs. I found this beautiful old glass jar in the garage, a previous owner had left it behind. 

Every spring, my pond is brimming with tadpoles. Come summer, they have become lovely spotted frogs resting on lily pads. August is also the height of the blooming season in my garden. Dahlias, hollyhocks, meadowsweets depicted in this painting, are just a few examples.
