Animé of Moi by Astrid
Astrid is turning out to be quite the artist. She loves to draw on the computer using her Bamboo tablet. She drew this portrait of me. I guess she sees me without wrinkles, grey hair and the pounds gained these past few decades. I'm not complaining. I especially love my teensy-weensy nose. If she's vying for some "brownie points", it's working - I'm raising her allowance.
This is really good! She will be working at Studio Ghibli someday! She gets her artistic talent from you. Although I think Brian draws a little too, if memory serves me well.

ReplyDeleteStudio Ghibli - that would be very cool. Yes, Brian was a very competent visual artist when I met him. Astrid is a much better artist then I was at her age. She will be a fare superior than me if she keeps that direction. Being raised with freedom and encouragement makes a huge difference, I think.
