Kismutt's Road Signs - Part V

I try to avoid working on the weekends, keeping them for my family, but the weather was simply deplorable. Damp, cold, windy and on Sunday it snowed leaving a couple of inches on the ground.
So we all decided to stay in and do our own stuff.

Here I am, Monday morning with a good head start.

The two wood panels have been painted with three coats of white exterior enamel paint on both sides.

After the image has been printed out, I trace over all the lines with a HB graphite pencil.

Here, the image is completely retraced. Note that the image is in reverse because it will be applied face down on to the panels for transfer.

Here the image is taped with the graphite side facing the panel, ready to be traced.

I use a pen to trace over the lines because the tip is hard and fine. As you can see, it transfers the graphite very well.

Here we are, although faint, the image has been completely transfered on to the wood panel and is ready to be filled in. This process will be repeated three more times, once for each side of the panels.
