Beatrix Potter- Portrait of an Author/Illustrator, completed

Here we are, not only did I do Beatrix Potter's portrait, but the portraits of some of her beloved characters as well. This is a women that gave me a lot to work with and there would have been more, but I had to stop for lack of space and I did not want to compromise the composition. But I had to add Kep, her favorite collie, at the back. She lived such a rich long and meaningful life. A portrait of her, later in life, when she became a sheep expert breeder is perhaps in my future project. I would like to believe she is pleased with this one. I know I am.
